Riggamuffin Samoa 2012

Samoa will be home to the first 'Riggamuffin Samoa 2012' in September. Paddlers from all around the South Pacific will make their way to Samoa during our Teuila Festival to compete in this premier Outrigger Paddling event.

11.00am Opening Ceremony for Riggamuffin (YNOT Apia Harbour)
2.00pm Jrs and Womens 5k

4.00pm Medal Presentation                

Tuesday 4th: Race Day2 - V12 Sprints
2.00am Sprints 500m Heats (YNOT Apia Harbour)
3.00pm Sprints 500m Finals           
4.00pm Medal Presentation

Thursday 6th: Race Day3 – V6 Sprints
1.00am Heats for 250, 500m and 1500m (YNOT Apia Harbour)
3.00pm Finals 250m, 500m and 1500m
4.00pm Medal Presentation
5.30pm Pub Crawl Insel- On the Rocks, Rock Da Boat-Le Godinet, RSA - Club X       
10.30pm Pub Crawl ends (YNOT Bar)

Friday 7th: Beach Party   
9.00am 1st Beach Party Buses departs (YNOT Bar)
10.00am Last Beach Party Buses departs (YNOT Bar)
12.00pm Welcoming and Lunch (Hideaway)
1pm -2.30pm Fun Races
4.00pm Beach Party buses departs back to Apia

The Riggamuffin Beach Party will be held at the stunning Samoa Hideaway Beach Resort on the south coast of Upolu Island on Friday 7 September. Jump on a bus at Y Not Bar in Apia and trundle across the island to this idyllic secluded beach for a day of fun and games with the MAI FM team and Riggamuffin paddlers. Your ticket includes the return bus transfer, food and all the music and activities on offer. A cash bar is available for you to purchase a range of alcoholic beverages or soft drinks. Chill out or join in the action at Samoa Hideaway Beach.
