O le Pupu Pue National Park

O le Pupu Pue National Park is Samoa’s first National Park, established in 1978 and was the first declared in the South Pacific. Activities include swimming at picturesque Togitogiga Waterfalls, open Mon-Sun: 7am-6pm with free entry. Also try hiking to the Pe’ape’a Caves which is a lava tube cave formed thousands of years ago and home to a small bird known in Samoan as Pe’ape’a, or the White-rumped Swiftlet. A guide can be organised from the Visitor Information Centre at the Park. Allow 3hrs return.
