Description

Guided Tours
Our regularly scheduled tours depart from New Zealand for two weeks of cycling, swimming and exploring.  We spend most of our time on the Island of Savaii, but leave plenty of time to explore Apia at the end.  The roads are mostly sealed and a sag wagon carries your gear (and you if needed).  More details at Samoa cycle tours.

Self Tours
We can organise your bike tour, arrange your accommodation and carry your bags, Depart any time, stay as long as you want, cycle as much as you want.  Children welcome to ride (we have suitable hire bikes) or to travel in the van (we can provide child minders – but you see them at each stop and there is much to stop and see).  See Cycle Tours  for more details.

Bike Hire
If you prefer to explore Samoa a little more independently we offer a bike hire service.  This year we have new GT Aggressor 1.0s with disk brakes.  We also have women’s bikes with a low bar.  Bikes come fully setup for touring with:

  • Handle bar bag
  • Panniers
  • Helmets
  • Gel seat
  • Lock
  • Repair kit
  • Spare tube
  • Pump

Kayak Samoa - Warms seas, wildlife, culture and beaches
With open ocean water temperatures about 28°C all year, but no nasties like box jellyfish, Samoa is something of a kayakers paradise.

A network of small islands close to the coast are easily reached. The smaller islands teem with life from frigate birds to shear-waters and flying foxes while the surrounding water has numerous large turtles, pods of dolphins and the odd passing whale.

There are many remote and stunning white sand beaches on the edges of clear lagoons with safe swimming and snorkelling amongst the coral.

On Manono Island and in other remoter villages, life is remarkably traditional and things have changed little in the last 100 years.  Help prepare an umu, observe basket making as it is done every day and try your hand at siapo (tapa cloth making).

Whether your ideal holiday is a lazy paddle between beautiful swimming beaches or challenging open ocean kayaking, Samoa has it all.
