Samoa is made up of ten islands, of which Upolu is the most populated. Upolu is where you'll find the capital Apia, Faleolo International Airport and much more.

Uncrowded Diving

Fish, fish and more fish. A few turtles, the odd shark, a couple of eels and lots of coral. Both Upolu and Savai'i have fabulous dive spots, sporting around 900 fish species, including spinner dolphins, stingrays and whales.

Robert Louis Stevenson Museum

The RLS Museum showcases and preserves the memories and lifestyle that drew RLS and his family to Samoa. The collection is well maintained and professionally presented that originally were part of the Stevensons' personal belongings are finding their way back to Samoa for display.

Waterfalls Aplenty

Samoa is blessed with an abundance of gorgeous waterfalls, each with their own distinctive charm.

Cycling Samoa

Biking provides a closer and more intimate view of the Samoan landscape and village life. A safe and smooth ride can be had for cyclists of all levels.

Game for some Fishing?

Passionate anglers will find plenty to rock their boat in this part of the world. There’s heaps of fish available all year round, including black and blue marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, giant trevally and masimasi.

The world has the opportunity to use the Third Conference on Small Island Developing States in Apia, to forge partnerships to address critical issues concerning sustainability in small islands, according to world leaders meeting today in the margins of the United Nations General Assembly.

Melanesian Cup

The Melanesian Cup 2014 will be held at the Aganoa Beach in the village of Faala in the big island of Savaii, where surfers from the Pacific will compete in the first week of September during the Teuila Festival and UN SIDS conference.

Ray of Hope Concert

The Concert will feature the largest line up of Pacific artists ever as curtain raiser for S.I.D.S activities and the Teuila Festival. The biggest line up of top Pacific musicians will be in Samoa at the end of August for a concert to remember. Presented by Digicel, the Ray of Hope Concert is predicted to be the biggest event of the year.

Teuila Festival

Since it was established in 1991, Samoa's Teuila Festival has grown to become one of Samoa's most celebrated annual events, and one of the South Pacific's biggest cultural festivals. 2014 marks the 24th annual Teuila Festival.
