Tours & Sightseeing

explore samoa and its many exquisite sites and sights

Get the inside knowledge with a tour of the Samoan islands, either from the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle, or with the wind in your hair. There are tour packages to suit everyone – from garden and shopping tours to more intrepid pedal-powered cycle tours. Tour operators are usually happy to discuss how to customise a tour.

Remember: In Samoa, most land and areas within a lagoon (or bay) is the property of a village, family or individual. You should always ask permission at the nearest village, as you may have to pay a small entry fee. Even if no one seems to be around, don't be surprised if someone comes along and asks for an entry fee. This is similar to a koha in New Zealand, but is a set price for each site. If you have hired the services of a driver for your time in Samoa, your driver will discuss entry fees with you.
