Mataolealelo Spring
Locals believe that these springs feature in the legend of how the coconut came to be.
The Mataolealelo Pool is one of Samoa's very significant legends and attraction site. This site symbolizes the legend of Sina and the eel that swam all the way from Fiji to marry and be with Sina. The pool still upholds its significance historical background up to date, and is continuously maintained and upgraded by the village of Safune today.
