Lake Lanotoo
A rough 2.3 kilometer 4WD track, followed by a challenging three- to five-hour walk (return) will take you to this magnificent green water lake. It's quite a hike but well worth it - the lake is teeming with goldfish brought here by the German settlers, hence it is also known as 'goldfish lake'. Make sure you come with the appropriate attire - good walking shoes and long pants - and take plenty of water.
