Australian music icon and guitar legend Ian Moss will be headlining the Samoa International Jazz and Blues Festival 2010, to be held on the tropical island of Upolu from November 12-14.
Moss will be performing in various venues throughout the three day event and will be supported by world renowned jazz and blues musicians from Samoa, New Zealand, England and the United States.
Together with Moss, international artists on the bill this year will include blues guitar star Robbie Macgregor, Kiwi guitar supremo Billy TK Jr, LA crooner Diana Harris, blues guitarist Tony Painting and internationally renowned jazz pianist Phil Broadhurst.
This is the first event of this kind to be hosted in Samoa according to Samoa Tourism Minister The Hon Misa Telefoni. “This event is a first for Samoa and we are proud to welcome world class musicians and guests to our island paradise for the festival”.
