Trade Familiarisation and Media Visit Update

As the rest of the Samoa Tourism Authority prepares the nation and visiting tourists for the
upcoming 19th Annual Teuila Festival 2010, STA’s local Marketing & Promotions Team with the great assistance from STA’s Overseas Market Representatives get busy to host Trade & Media Visits that come through STA for promotion and awareness purposes.  Recent visits included:
TradeFamiliarisation : QAS Holidays
QAS Holidays is a major wholesaler in the Netherlands and Belgium to the destinations in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. The company was established in 1991. Fiji, Cook Islands, New Caledonia, Niue, Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu are the countries in the Pacific which are featured in the QAS Holidays brochure.

The main purpose for QAS Holiday’s Visit was to update information for the Pacific Section of the QAS Catalogue, on what Samoa has to offer in the area of Deluxe Accommodation Properties.  The two QAS representatives gave back favourable reports on what they were able to experience and see.

STA would like to thank Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, Aggie Grey’s Properties, Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa, Coconuts Beach Club Resort, Le Vasa Resort, Siufaga Beach Resort, Le Lagoto Beach Resort, Island Rento; and the various sites that were visited as part of QAS Familiarisation Educational Programme.

QAS Holidays visited Samoa from 04-07th August 2010
