In an Emergency: dial 911

While we don’t like to think of emergencies happening, it’s best to be prepared in case one does.

For ambulance, police or fire services, dial 911

or if calling from your mobile phone, dial +685 911

If you're involved in an emergency, alert your accommodation provider or any nearby locals who may be able to contact emergency services.

Being prepared

Like any tropical country, Samoa can sometimes have tropical storms and cyclones. Your accommodation will let you know if any are forecast, but it pays to also keep an eye on it - especially if you’re heading out on the water.

There are many signs around Samoa offering safe inland tracks to head inland in the unlikely event of a tsunami. Take note of these, just as a precaution.
